Dr. Lewis John Turner. Jr., son of Mrs. L. J. Turner of Washington, Va., and the late Mr. Turner, has recently completed a three year residency at the University of North Carolina specializing in Radiology. He will be associated with Dr. H. W. Stinsonand Dr. A. C. Wagner in Warrenton serving hospitals in Warrenton, Manassas, Culpeper and Front Royal. Dr. Turner is a graduate of Randolph-Macon Academy in Front Royal. He received his degree in Medicine at the University of Virginia and served at internship at Norfolk General Hospital. Serving for 30 months in the U. S. Army Medical Corps he was stationed at Ft. Wainwright, Alaska.
Married to the former Miss Ellen Walker of Charlotte, N. C., they have two children, Lewis John, III and Mary Lambert. They will make their home in Warrenton.

Carnival Prize
Winners Named
The Chester Gap carnival closed Saturday night and the awarding of prizes climaxed activities. Mrs. Edith Cave of Washington, Va. was given the boat and motor; Patricia Frazier of Manassas was awarded the $100 cash prize; Bonnie Grimsley of Huntly received both the $50 and $25 cash prizes. The Chester Gap Fire and Rescue units expressed appreciation for the work, food, attendance, and assistance of all kinds which insured the success of the event.
Forest Grove Minister Assumes Duties
The Rev. David Brown has accepted the pastorate of the Forest Grove and Jeffersonton Baptist churches and will assume duties here on Sunday, July 11. The Forest Grove Church will have Sunday School at 10 a.m. and the worship service will begin at 11 a.m.
