Junior High School, and first through fourth place bands respectively were Elkton High School, Turkey Foot Valley High School, Confluence, Pa., Shippensburg High School, Shippensburg, Pa., Stafford High School. The Twirlettes Inc. of Frederick, Md. were best majorette group with Fauquier Steppettes senior group in second position; Cinda Fink of Hedgesville, W. Va. was named best individual majorette.
