Miss Mary Brooke Massie and George Massie are visiting their grandmother Mrs. George L. Wallihan this week in Front Royal. Dr. H. W. Stinson and Dr. A. C. Wagner of Warrenton were losts ata dinner Saturday night at the Fauquier Springs Country Club in honor of Dr. and Mrs. John L. Turner. Among those from Washington attending were Mrs. L. J. Turner, Mrs. W. H. Massie, Jr., Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Jones, Ned Moffett Jones, and Mr. and Mrs. Newbill Miller.
Mr. and Mrs. Nick Penaranda and three children of Fairfax spent from Wednesday until Friday with J. Stant Weaver. Mr. Weavers sisters Mrs. C. G. Thornhill, Mrs. G. R. Butler and Mrs. J. W. Hawkins with Mr. Hawkins of Boston were Thursday luncheon guests. Mr. Weavers Saturday and Sunday guests were John Weaver, Eddie Pridgen, Mrs. Ollie Myrick and Miss Margaret Shaw, all of Washington, D. C.
Mrs. Conoly Bedell and three children of Ft. Smith, Ark. were recent guests of her grandmother Mrs. W. M. Fletcher and other relatives in the county and Madison. They were joined this week by Mr. Bedell and all left for a European trip.
Mrs. Fabian Kozik of New York City is the guest of her son and daughter-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Kozik and family.
Week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Lee Smith at Spring House Farm were Mr. and Mrs. Robinson Duncan of Colchester.
Mrs. Henry M. Keyser returned home Sunday from a two week’s vacation spent with relatives and friends in Maine and Connecticut. She was accompanied by Mrs. Thelma B. Clark of Falls Church.
Mrs. Reverdy Jones, III and infant son, Reverdy, IV arrived Monday from Lexington at the home of her parents Mr. and Mrs. George H. Davis, jr. She will leave next week to join her husband at Ft. Knox, Ky.
