1972. The loan rate will remain at $1.25 a bushel, national averagehigh enough to provide protection of farm income if the market unexpectedly falls, low enough not to be the determining factor in market prices for wheat.
The 19.7 million-acre domestic wheat allotment for the nation is unchanged from 1971. And farmstored and warehouse-stored loans and purchases will continue to be available to producers participating in the voluntary wheat program.

Mr. and Mrs. Reverdy Hamlin Jones, III of Lexington, Va. announce the birth of a son Reverdy Hamlin, IV, August 4, 1971 at Stonewall Jackson Hospital in Lexington. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. George H. Davis, jr. of Washington, Va., and Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Jones, jr. of Fairmont, W. Va. Mrs. B. R. Cox of Washingtbn is the greatgrandmother of the infant.
