Mrs. Vickie Settle Burke left Wednesday from Kennedy National Airport, N. Y. for Wurzburg, Germany to join her husband William Burke who is serving a lour of duty with the U.S. Army. She was accompanied from National Airport to Kennedy by her father Jesse J. Settle. Visiting Mrs. Burke prior to her departure were Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Carpenter of Culpeper.
Mrs. Betty Baldwin, Mrs. S. D. Hutton and Mrs. Ray T. Cannon were in Annandale recently to join Miss Ann Cannon of Alexandria for dinner at the Black Barron.
Mrs. Ethel Cooksey had as her dinner guests Sunday Mrs. John Hodge and son William of Fredericksburg, Rev. Koy Petersen of Culpeper, Mrs. Norvel James and Jack James of Viewtown. Her Monday dinner guests were the Rev. and Mrs. A. C. Walker of Culpeper.
Mr. and Mrs. H R. Terhune were at Eagle Eyrie Baptist Camp near Lynchburg for the day Monday and spent the night at Natural Bridge returning home Tuesday night.
Bobby Scott returned home this week after serving a two year tour of duty with the U.S. Army. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Scott. Dinner guests Tuesday evening of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Poling and daughter Cheryl were Mr. and Mrs. Richard Graham and children Ritchie, Terry and Larry of Bristown and Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Hawkins and son Ronnie of Washington, Va. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Settle spent Sunday with Mrs. Arda Settle in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Reginald Aylor in Madison. Stan Settle was a guest for several days of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Ford in Brightwood.
