Wiley Clark Gentry
Wiley Clark Gentry, 88, of Flint ‘Hill, died August 4, 1971 at the Lynn Care Center of Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal, following a long illness.
He was born at Low Gap, N. C., the son of the late Alfred and Caroline South Gentry. His wife Lula Edna Gentry predeceased him.
Surviving are two sons, W. A. Gentry of Flint Hill and E. Alvin Gentry of Radford; one daughter Mrs. W. A. Clemens of Seaford; five grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren.
A funeral service was held Friday at 2 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home Chapel, Front Royal conducted by the Rev. Jerry Campbell and the Rev. Abshire Starstrom. Interment was in Flint Hill Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Bernard Gilpin, Robert Nethers, Raymond Sutphin, Charles Bowling, Herbert Foster and William Eastham.
