A BIG PARADE will be the feature tonight, Thursday of the Sperryville annual firemen’s carnival which began last night and will continue through Saturday. The parade, containing marching units, majorettes, fire and rescue equipment and beauty queens, along with many others, begins at 7 p.m.

The midway is complete with a ferris wheel and many other rides while games and amusements for everyone abound. Good home cooked food in addition to hot dogs and hamburgers with drinks and coffee will be available at the food stand.

Prizes will be awarded Saturday night at the close of the carnival and include a 1972 Ford Maverick; $50 Savings Bond; $25 Savings Bond; automobile battery; $10 in groceries.

The public is invited to attend the carnival
