Reading course;
A newly developed Reading Improvement course will be offered by Lord Fairfax Community College beginning July 24 and ending August 29.
The course is designed to improve reading efficiency, comprehension, and speed. A multi-media instructional approach will combine video-taped lessons with individualized attention by the instructor. Practice reading will use standard paperbacks, supplemented by books and periodicals of each student’s choice.
This course, scheduled to meet daily from 11 to 12:10, is open to seniors in high school, recent high school graduates, college and university students, and all adults.
