Hunting and fishing license agencies around the state should now have supplies of the new “Summary of Virginia Game Laws” and “Summary of Virginia Fish Laws,’’ reports Game Commission’s information office.
Game Wardens delivered supplies of the new folders to most agents during the past week. The informational brochures are printed in color in a format similar to that which proved popular last year. The front of the game law folder features a squirrel hunting scene and a landlocked striped bass graces the cover of the new fishing regulations.
The removal of creel limits on panfish allowed a great deal of simplification in the fishing regulations. Also included in this year’s fish regulation folder were the May trout stream closures which had to be omitted last year because of space limitations.
