JAN BONSMA FIELD DAY — The Matthiessens and Dave Brower are sponsoring a Jan Bonsma Field Day at Still House Hollow Farm, Hume, Virginia this Friday and Saturday, July 21 and 22. Prof. Jan Bonsma, Pretoria, South Africa, is one of the world’s leading cattlemen and one of the great teachers of this decade. Perhaps no single individual, in the past seven or eight years, has had more impact on America’s beef cattle breeding industry. Prof. Bonsma will have new ideas and observations to unfold in his unique outlook on the beef industry. He will include fresh material on exotic breeds now entering the U. S.

The Field Day starts 2:30 p.m. Friday .with a bus tour of the Still House Hollow beef and farming jC operation.

At 7:30 p.m. in Fauquier High School Auditorium in Warrenton, Jam Bonsma’s slide lecture, “Beef Cattle Around The World”.

Saturday, 8:00 a.m., (back at the Farm) - Senior and Junior Judging Contest.
