I couldn’t resist the temptation to turn critic, and voice my opinion on the front page story of last week’s news headlined as “Bears or Dogs.”
I feel that this dramatic piece belongs in a novel and not in a rural county newspaper. I also have detected sounds of mockery which I am sure you did not intend — but just the same it’s there. I also feel it is not necessary to quote any individual verbatim in this type of publication when in so doing it will effect his reputation or throw shadows on his character.
