Petitions, to be signed by a minimum of three qualified voters, must be filed by October 27 at the Rappahannock County ASCS Office.
“We are hopeful a slate of at least six candidates will be nominated by farmer petitions, including repsentatives of the minority groups in the county. ASCS programs are non-discriminatory and administered without regard to race, color, creed, sex or national origin,” said Coates.
Eligible farmers may sign as many nominating petitions as they wish. No special petition form is required, but the petition must include a statement that the nominee is willing
