Hey, have you heard yet? The stadium pillows for the Panthers have come in and the cheerleaders will be selling them through the week and through the season to help pay for their uniforms. We are hoping for the support of the students and people of the county.
Beverly Reid is editor of the annual, “The Rappsody” and Mrs. Pomeroy is sponsor. They have begun selling ads which will help to pay for the yearbooks and are planning to go to Charlottesville October 12 to select the cover and decide on type and other things involved in the publication of the Rappsody. Linda Ralls, the assistant editor and Connie Huff who is in charge of advertising will be very busy.
Remember — the Cross Country team has its first meet this Saturday at Winchester. The boys really need our support their first time out so if there is any way possible go on over to James Wood and show them how much we’re backing them up.
