Moffett. Sunday the Moffetts and guests spent the day with the Rev. and Mrs. C. E. Buxton and son in Springfield to eelebrate the birthdays of the Rev. Buxton and W. F. Moffett.
Mrs. T. C. Lea returned Sunday after visiting her brother-in-law and sister Mrs. T. S. Williams at Amherst, attending the wedding of a relative in Atlanta, Ga. and spending several days with her son-inlaw and daughter Mr. and Mrs. John Cargill and family in Bedford.
Mr. and Mrs . Thomas Wayland and sons Eddie and Mike of Manassas were weekend guests of Mr. Wayland’s parents Mr. and Mrs. Ashby Wayland.
Mrs. Charlie Jenkins spent last week with her son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Butler and family in McLean who accompanied her home for the weekend. On Saturday the Jenkins’ and Butlers had dinner at Graves Mountain Lodge, Syria.
Mrs. Jesse Ward and her sister Mrs. C. 0. Raymond of Warrenton were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hockman and Mr. and Mrs. Owen Hockman of Falls Church at the Coach and Cavern Restaurant in Luray.
