Mrs. Ethel Cooksey, accompanied by her nephew Fred Cooke of Viewtown, visited Mrs. Annie Latham Thursday at Shawnee Nursing Home near Winchester.
Youth week was observed by Amissville Baptist Church last week and events of the observance included a roller skating party Monday night, community visiting Wednesday evening and a campfire and party Saturday night. Sunday the youth group was in charge of Sunday School and conducted both the morning and evening worship services. The evening service Sunday was an adult appreciation service.
