^^fHOtey-SacoK Snead 1 cup Tripletts enriched self-rising corn meal 1 cup Tripletts enriched self-rising flour 2 tablespoons sugar 3/4 teaspoon baking soda 2 eggs beaten 1 1/2 cups buttermilk 1/4 cup instant minced onion 1/3 cup cooked crumbled bacon, reserving 3 tablespoons drippings 1 can (1 lb) stewed tomato wedges, drained, reserving 1/2 cup liquid Sift together dry ingredients. Combine eggs, buttermilk, onion and bacon; add all at once to corn meal-flour mixture, stirring only until dry ingredients are moistened. Grease an 8-inch square glass baking dish with bacon drippings. Pour the 1/2 cup reserved tomato juice over batter. Do not stir. Bake in preheated 375 degree oven 40 to 45 minutes. Serve hot.
