Jean Carter Moffett
Mr. and Mrs. William F. Moffett Jr. of Washington, Va., announce the engagement of their daughter, Jean Carter, to Ensign David Craig Welling, son of Mr. and Mrs. David G. Welling of Rockville, Md.
Miss Moffett will graduate in May from Mary wTVashington College, Fredericksburg with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science. At the college she was named to the academic honorary fraternities of Alpha Phi Sigma and Pi Gamma Mu. She is president of the Zeta Chapter of the latter at Mary Washington and was named to Mortar Board as one of the 17 outstanding senior women at the college.
