TWO VIEWTOWN women were injured in a two-vehicle collision Saturday on Route 611 near Amissville. Mrs. Katie James and her daughter Carolyn are patients in Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton, with injuries sustained in the accident.
Mrs. James was driving a 68 Chevrolet and collided with Thomas Gentrey of Catlett in a 63 Chevrolet when they met and hit head on, according to Trooper R.A. Baines, who said the investigation continues and charges are pending.
Mrs. James sustained a fractured knee and abrasions while her daughter received a dislocated and fractured ankle and lacerated knee.
