“Notice is hereby given to the public that Virginia Telephone and Telegraph Company on August 14, 1973, filed with the State Corporation Commission new schedules of rates and charges, and rules and regulations. Virginia Telephone and Telegraph Company now serves customers formerly served by Lee Telephone Company which was acquired by merger on April 5, 1973. The effective date of the applicant’s proposed new schedules of rates and charges, and rules and regulations has been suspended until January 1, 1974, unless otherwise, in the meantime, ordered. The proposed new schedules will result in increased charges for telephone service. Investigation of the proposed rates and charges, rules and regulations, has been entered upon by the State Corporation Commission and a hearing on the new schedules has been set for 10:00 a.m. on November. 26, 1973, in the Courtroom of the Commission, Blanton Building, Richmond, Virginia, at which time and place members of the public generally may appear and present such relevant data as may be desired and be heard.'The application and proposed new schedules may be seen at the office of the State Corporation Commission, Blanton Building, Richmond, Virginia 23209, and may be reviewed at any business office of the Company *here bills may be paid.

The applicant has been directed to file the testimony and exhibits of witnesses to be offered in support of its application by September 14, 1973. Any person may review the testimony and exhibits of the Company on or after September 14, 1973, at the office of the Commission or notify any business office of the Company and it will be made available for review.
