RAPPAHANNOCK’S Planners got rather technical, discussing subdivision road requirements, at their work session on the subdivision ordinance last Thursday night. What concerned Planning Commission members were standards for roads within, subdivisions with lots 25 acres or more in size.
“Why do we have to do a lot of babysitting for newcomers who find a lot hard to get to?” Commonwealth’s Attorney George Davis asked. “We don’t have to promise them services just because they think they deserve them.”
