The Sweetheart Queen and her court were announced at the dance Friday night. Christine Timbers, the 1973 Queen, crowned Angie Dennis as the new Sweetheart Queen for 1974.
Her court consisted of Robin Estes, 11th grade; Cindy Cumins, 10th; Sherry Brown, 9th; and Patsy Vest, 8th grade.
Nominations were held in each homeroom and they were elected by the student body.
A meeting was held at at the Elementary School Tuesday night to discuss plans for the youth center. Student Officers and committee members will be elected on March 6. An activity schedule is being formulated which will be put into action in April, hopefully.
