Mrs. Whorton
A funeral service for Mary Susan Whorton, 89, of Castleton was held Wednesday at Massanova Pentecostal Church near Castleton, conducted by the Rev. Archie Clatterbuck. Burial was in the family cemetery near Castleton.
Mrs. Whorton, widow of Hubert Gibbon Whorton, died Saturday, February 16, at her residence. A native of Rappahannock County, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Settle.
She is survived by three sons, Russell Whorton and Ira Whorton, both of Opal, and Lewis Whorton of Cas - tleton; four daughters, Mrs. Minne Pearl Heflin of Bealeton, Mrs. Virginia's, Burke of The Plains, Mrs. Mollie Elliott of Remington
