Cattlemen’s course A BEEF CATTLEMEN’S short course with emphasis on cow-calf and feeder cattle production has been planned for March 11 and 12 at the Continuing Education Center, VPI&SU campus, Blacksburg. • The Short Course is designed for both purebred and commercial cattle with special emphasis on cowcalf and feeder calf production. The program is designed to give indepth and up-to-date training in ^ several areas. The teaching will be slanted toward the practical side. Topics include nutrition, breeding, management, economics and marketing, herd health and a final session on management.
