Sharp receives
student award
William L. Sharp of Washington, Va. and Chevy Chase, Md. has received a fellowship in the High School Heart Research Program of the Washington Heart Association.
The award was made through competitive examination among selected D. C. area students. This leads to participation this summer in a research program sponsored by (NIH) National Institute of Health.
William is the son of Capt. and Mrs. George Sharp of Mountain Green Farm, Washington, Va. He is a junior at St. Anselm’s Abbey School in Washington, D.C. and is a star basketballer on the junior varsity there.□
