Atkins
Graveside services were held Saturday for Raymond Waldo Atkins of Washington, D.C. in the Sperryville cemetery conducted by the Rev. Ronald Wiley.
Mr. Atkins, 75,' died March 14, 1974 following a brief illness. A native of Sperryville, he was the son of the late Menefee Atkins and Alice Elizabeth Jenkins of Sperryville. He was owner of a shoe store in Washington.
Surviving are two brothers; Wilber C. Atkins of Sperryville and Edwin Atkins of Baltimore, Md.; two nieces and a nephew.
Pallbearers were Thomas R. Taylor, Paul S. Alther, Roy B. Leake, Hugh S. Atkins, Clyde Atkins and Allison Atkins.□
