“YOU KNOW Rappahannock has the largest territory of any hunt club in the country. You know the old territory of Rappahannock Hunt? If I’m not mistaken, it ran from Page County to the Southern Railroad tracks in Culpeper, into Madison and up to the Fauquier County line.
“I think that’s one of the largest territories in the country, ever; big enough to be a state of its own. Now they can’t possibly hunt that whole territory, but they make a pretty good showing.
“But they get over most of it, even if what they’ve got left is still one of the biggest there is. Have to get over it, so they can keep it. Used to be another Hunt club would come in and take it away from you.
