THE Division of Motor Vehicles reminds Virginians that after midnight, March 31, all registered vehicles must display 1974 license plates.
For private passenger cars, this means that the multi - year plates must show year and month decals. Since all others '(trucks, trailers, motorcycles, etc.) remain on an annual basis, owners must buy new 1974 plates. These may be purchased during March, at any DMV branch, contractual license agency, or by mail.
