Some of our players are recovering from “slight” injuries but are about OK now and back on the ball diamond. They are getting ready for their first game March 29 at 4 p.m. on our home field.
A slate of JV players has not been announced yet.
Baseball games in Rappahannock are not as well attended by the public as our basketball games. This is a great sport and we encourage more people to come see our games this year.D
YOUTH DAY
The Young People’s Chorus of the Hopewell Baptist Church is having its annual Youth Day on Sunday, March 24, at 3 p.m. All youths are invited to come and take part. Everyone is welcome, said Mrs. Anna Allsberry, director, and the Rev. U.S. Brokenburr, pastor.□
