EAGER Boy Scouts of the Amissville Troop went into quick action last week to accumulate their first million, or more appropriately, their first ton.
With the vigor of youth, the boys went to work on the proposal of the Amissville Ruritan Club last month—a bargain which offered all the Boy Scout Troops of Rappahannock County a day’s outing at some historic spot in return for their assistance in collecting old newspapers and scrap metal.
Scoutmaster C. Dodson reports space secured in an old barn is rapidly being covered with stacks of old newspapers and piles of broken plow points, gear boxes and pipe.
