RAPPAHANNOCK’S Supervisors adopted a county budget of $1,328,061.72 for the 1975 fiscal year and set the tax rate at $4.10 per hundred, the same as last year’s, after a public hear r ing at their meeting last Thursday.
The major portion of the budget goes for schools, $962,562. This amount includes a “special appropriation” of $15,210, which is a partial restoration of $48,200 the Supervisors had cut earlier from the school board’s budget request.
