THE SECOND part of a two - step increase in monthly social security benefits will be included in checks delivered in July, according to Mrs. Hazel F. Crumpton, social security district manager in Winchester.
The overall increase will amount to 11 percent for most people getting social security payments. A 7-, percent increase was included in checks starting in April.
“The increase will enhance the financial security of about 30 million people who get social security benefits,” Mrs. Crumpton
