Flea Market planned

THE RAPPAHANNOCK RECREATION Association will sponsor the traditional 4th of July Flea Market on the streets of Washington, Va., this year. Hours will be from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., with a picnic supper planned before the fireworks at Carrigan s. Sales may be made from the backs of trucks or station wagons, or from booths constructed by the vendors. Civic groups and other local organizations are encouraged to sponsor booths selling any of a variety of items, including baked goods, old tools, clothes, crafts, art works, etc. Organizations or dealers wishing to reserve space at the Flea Market should contact Mrs. Dale Metzinger, phone 987-8161, before June 28. Space fee for business firms is $12.50 plus 5% or negotiated flat rate. Space for charity benefit $7.50 plus 5% or negotiated flat rate. Proceeds from the Flea Market will benefit the Youth Center. □
