William Ambler Moore, 59, of Flint Hill died June 9, 1974 in the University of Virginia Hospital at Charlottesville.
A graveside service was held Wednesday in the Rock Hill Farm family cemetery conducted by the Rev. Malcom Maples.
Mr. Moore was born in Rappahannock County, son of the late John R. Moore and Mary Printz Moore.
He is survived by his wife, Edna Johnson Moore; three sons, John H. Moore, and Robert E. Moore both of Front Royal and William A. Moore, Jr., with the U. S. Air Force in Japan; one daughter, Mrs. Charlotte Ward of Riverton; three grandchildren; one brother, Louis P. Moore of Flint Hill; and one sister, Mrs. John (Mary) Blais
