Robert Barnett Herndon, 63, of Culpeper died Friday August 2,1974 at Culpeper Memorial Hospital. He was born in Culpeper County and was employed by Gayheart’s Drugstore. His parents were the late James B. and Daisy Houghton Herndon of Culpeper and Rappahannock.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lorelei Corbin Herndon; two daughters, Miss Ann Herndon of Virginia Beach and Mrs. Earn Cole of Culpeper/ one son, James R. Herndon of Kilmarnock; and three grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. T. C. Barron of Viewtown and Mrs. L. M. Weakley of Culpeper.
The funeral service was Monday at 2 p.m. at Clore Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Fairview Cemetery. Officiating were the Rev. John S. Farrar and the Rev. John Brake.L
