4-H’ers AND their friends ages 8 through 15, are invited to participate in a 4-H Fishing Rodeo and barbecue at Ian Pryde’s Blue Rock Farm, Wednesday, August 21, starting at 2 p.m. Mr. Pryde’s farm is located across from the High School on Route 211; look for the 4-H sign.
The Fishing Rodeo will be from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. followed by a barbecue and presentation of prizes. Fishing enthusiasts will be divided by age, for the purpose of awarding prizes— those under 12 and those who are 12 through 15 on the date of the Fishing Rodeo.
The following prizes will be awarded, courtesy of the Culpeper Soil and Water Conservation District: 1. $2, the largest fish; 2. $2 the most fish; 3. $2, the smallest fish.
