Nancy Lea Cargill was graduated in June from Lib'erty High School, Bedford, ranking first in her class of 245. Among the honors received by Nancy were the DAR Good Citizen Award; the French Award for the highest average during four years, and most promising Social Studies student. She was president of the Liberty Beta Club, a member of the Society of Outstanding Teenagers, Society for Outstanding High School Students. She will enter Madison College, Harrisonburg, where she will study speech pathology. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John G. Cargill Jr. and granddaughter of Mrs. T.C. Lea of Washington, Va. In earlier years she attended schools in Rappahannock.
