Mrs. Jenkins
A funeral service for Gladys Dolly Jenkins of Culpeper was held Sunday, March 23, at 2 p.m., at the Geest Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in Fairview Cemetery, Culpeper.
Mrs. Jenkins, 71, died March 20, at her residence. A native of Rappahannock County, she was the daughter of the late William Sisk and the late Annie Bates Sisk. Her husband, Richard Garfield Jenkins, died in 1971.
Mrs. Jenkins was a member of Piedmont Regular Baptist Church near Sperryville.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Nancy Beach and Mrs. Virginia Frazier; two granddaughters, Mrs. Dorothy Bayne and Miss Donna Lee Beach; two greatgrandchildren, Melissa Bayne and Ricky Bayne, all of Culpeper; and two brothers, Early Sisk of Sperryville and Robert Sisk of Orange.

Lee Dowdell
A graveside service for Mrs. Lee Dowdell of Richmond was held last Sunday at the Amissville Baptist Church cemetery. She died March 20, 1975. Mrs. Dowdell, who was 90, was a graduate of Westhampton College.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Roger Clement of Victoria; and a brother, Stewart H. Ritnour of Naples, Fla. She was a sister of the late, Mrs. Rosalie Hackley.D
