Mrs. Gordon Lindenblad and Ambler met Dr. Lindenblad at National Airport Saturday and returned to Mt. Prospect where they were overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. W.A. Miller. The Lindenblads left Sunday for Princeton, N. J. where they were guests of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nils Lindenblad, who accompanied them to their home in Chesterfield, Mo. Tuesday.
Mr. and Mrs. Kermit Weakley accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Harry Dwyer and Mrs. Fred Chewning of Woodbridge spent the weekend with Dr. Kenneth Dwyer and Kirk in Staunton. They all attended the Maple Festival in Monterey Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. Douglas D. Fairfax have returned after a week’s visit in Ireland, where they toured Limmerick, Dublin, Cork and Killarney.
Mrs. Downing Wood was entertained at a surprise birthday party Monday by Mr. and Mrs. Kent Reeve and family, Mrs. Mary Bailey and Lynn, Mrs. Frances Conover and Beth and Joe D. Keyser. Mrs. Wood visited her mother Mrs. C.G. Reid in Culpeper Sunday.
