After checking a recent complaint about a school bus schedule in the Slate Mills-Boston area, E.N.. Montague, who had worked with School Superintendent O.A. Norton on the complaint, declared the inconvenience and time difference not serious enough to alter schedules. Other business to come before the School Board at its March meeting included a replacement for the position of secretary at the local high school which is vacant following the resignation of Betty Lee. She has assumed a position in Front Royal with the Warren County Department of Welfare. No replacement has been named.
Mr. Norton reported the average daily attendance for the two schools was 1215. Eight new students had enrolled and four had withdrawn last month.
