THE SECOND in a series of eight lectures on Solar Energy and the Environment is scheduled for Friday, June 20, at 7 p.m. in Rappahannock County Elementary School. The speaker will be George C. Szego of Warrenton and the master of ceremonies will be Peter Kramer, Mayor of Washington, Va.

Dr. Szego for more than eight years was senior member of the technical staff at the Institute for Defense Analyses in Arlington. While there he was responsible for the direction of the Manned Orbiting Laboratory. In 1967, Dr. Szego was a member of the panel which wrote the “Morse” report on automobile and air pollution for the Department of Commerce. Formerly, he was senior member of the technical staff of Space Technology Laboratories, Inc.
