Farm accident
Ian Pryde of Blue Rock Farm near Washington sustained serious injury Saturday, June 7 when he was run over by his farm tractor. Mr. Pryde was preparing to mow hay in the field. As he put hts hand on the steering wheel of the tractor and attempted to step up to the seat, the wheels turned and the large machine started to roll.
Mr. Pryde was thrown to the ground and the large back wheel ran completely over his body. He sustained six broken ribs and a punctured lung, and was bruised from his waist to neck. After treatment at Culpeper and the University Hospital, he is recuperating at his home.D
