Philip Thornton of Richmond spent the weekend with his grandmother, Mrs. Frances Thornton while his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Thornton III were vacationing inMooreheadCity, N.C.

Dr. and Mrs. Larry Kushner of Gaithersburg, Md. were weekend guests of Mrs. Catherine Brown and Beverly Brown. Joining them Saturday were Miss Leslie Kushner and David Brittle of Silver Spring, Md., Mrs. Edward Payne of Fairfax, Benny Brown and Rita McCoy of Winchester and Mrs. Julian Brown.

Mrs. Maurice Manuel of Browntown was a Friday and overnight guest of Mr. and Mrs, B. M. Varner. Mrs. Nina B. Brown joined them for dinner.

Dinner guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrsi Robert Nethers in Flint Hill were Mr. and Mrs. Ranny Aylor and Heather, Mr. and Mrs. F. D. Coffey, Jr. and Mrs. Virginia Lew - is.
