Mr. and Mrs. Frank Dixon and Franky of Strasburg Road visited Mr. and Mrs. Danny Hickersonand family Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. Bennie Atkins and family were in Markham Sunday to visit Mr. and Mrs. Silas Atkins. Donna Atkins remained in Markham until Monday, the guest of her cousin, Karen Showers.

Tony and Jeffery Leake, sons of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Leake, each underwent a tonsilectomy Thursday in Winchester Memorial Hospital.

Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Gilkey, Bert, Kim and Kelly spent from Friday until Sunday on a camping trip near Gore. Visitors in the Gilkey home Sunday included Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Williams; Mr. and Mrs. Burney Burnette and family; Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Sibert and Steven; Mr. and Mrs. Joe Priest and Robbie; Mrs. Marcelle McNeill, Nancy, Bruce and Linda; and Mr. and Mrs. Maynard Williams, Mike and Melody.

Mr. and Mrs. “Skip” Mathena and Minda Ann of Quinton spent the weekend with his parents, the Rev. and Mrs. Roy Mathena.

Mr. and Mrs. Sam North had as Saturday visitors Mr. and Mrs. Jim Bussey of Roanoke, Mrs. Willie B. Mills of Huntly, and Miss Tammie Harris of Haymarket. Sunday Mr. North was joined for Fathers Day dinner by Miss Shirley North, Mrs. Gracie Williams and Kelly Jo and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Goranson. Afternoon callers were Mrs. Florence Mahoney of Browntown and daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Riley of Middletown, and Mrs. Layman Deavers of Front Royal.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Scheidegger and Tina visited Mr. and Mrs. Robert Edwards,, and son Bobby, in Norfolk June 8 and Tina remained for an extended visit.

Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Rudacille of Front Royal and Mrs. Earl Yancey of Viewtown were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Williams Sunday.
