Miss Patricia Hutto of Mechanicsville was a guest for the weekend of Miss Faye Burner at the home of her parents Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Burner. Mrs. Bertie Hackley and Miss Johnny Hackley spent the weekend in Richmond and visited Mrs. Willard Hutto at Mechanicsville.
Mr. and Mrs. Farrell Nicholas and sons joined Mr. and Mrs. Carl Nicholas of College Park, Md. in Lewisburg, W. Va. for the weekend. They visited Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Morrison.
Mrs. J.S. Stirman spent Tuesday through Thursday last week in Roanoke attending the Virginia Baptist State WMU convention.
Pat Settle received X-rays Tuesday night for an arm injury sustained in track participation at school in Culpeper.
Mr. and Mrs. John Early returned to their home Sunday evening after an eight day trip abroad. They were in Italy and visited Florence, Pompeii, Naples, Tivoli and other places.
Mrs. David Streagle and children and Mrs. Sarah Latham were afternoon visitors Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. John Peck and Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Peck and family in Spotsylvania where they were joined by Mrs. C.C. Cockerill and Mr. and Mrs. H.B. Peck of Herndon. They also visited Miss Susan Latham at MWC in Fredericksburg.
H.R. Terhune returned home today after being a patient in Prince William Hospital, Manassas for minor surgery.
