July 4th is a special day in every year; even more so this year because of the Bicentennial birthday of our nation. But for many R.C.H.S. students July won’t be the more most important 4th of the year. . .for R.C.H.S. Seniors, June 4th will be that most important day; the closing of one phase of their lives and the dawning of another—graduation. Your senior year in high school to many is not always that golden year imagined, but almost inevitably to each, it is a special year of self realization—a christening to life and the adult world. The realization that June 4th is not so far away may have dawned on many Seniors with this week’s arrival of graduation announcements and the busy planning taking place for May’s Senior trip. Somehow I feel for many of us, this year’s fireworks are going to seem a lot more spectacular and a little bit brighter. It’s the “Spirit of ‘76!”
Our Baseball Panthers are off to a good start with a successful victory over Orange County’s team in a scrimmage last Saturday. The final score was 3 to 2 and our Panthers were looking good. Way
