TWENTY-TWO 4-H members participated in the Rappahannock County 4-H Junior Contest held on Tuesday, March 23, in the Parish Hall, Washington.

Eight young women from Chester Gap 4-H Community Club modeled garments they had made in their 4-H clothing project. Models winning ribbons were: Kelly Gilkey, Blue; Cindy Williams, Red; Dina Bird Williams, Blue; Gail Wines, Red;.. Roxzy Wines, Red; Gina Wines, Blue; Patty Williams, Blue; Sandy Wines, Red.

Food demonstrations were given by three from the Amissville 4-H Community Club. Demonstrating how to make; Jello was Patricia Scott, Blue; French Toast Wanda Wharton, red; Pudding, Teresa Wharton, Red.

Illustrated talks on animal projects were given by Raynetta Gheen from the Amissville 4-H Community Club on Horses, Blue; Russel Savee from the Washington 4-H Community Club on Dogs, Red; Dee Dee Grant from the Washington 4-H Community Club dn Guinea Pigs, Red.
