Scouts visit quarry
Dens 2 and 3 of Cub Scout Pack 123 visited Mowers Quarries at The Plains Sunday, March 14. The Scouts hiked, examined fossils and had lunch which they had carried.
Cubs who went were Richie Eastham, Joe Jenkins, Harold Foster, Kevin Harrison, Bobby Baines and Mike Del Grosso of Den 3; Rob Brown, Marc Streagle, Jeff Porter and William Fletcher of Den 2.
Leaders accompanying them were Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Eastham with parents Mr. and Mrs. Jack Jenkins, Mrs. Elizabeth Streagle and R. A. Baines. Also joining the group were Shannon Streagle, Janet Jenkins, Marlenea Jenkins and Lee Baines. □
