SCOUT PROJECT
Den 1 and Den 4 of Cub Scout Pack 123 at Castleton participated in a Keep America. Beautiful campaign Saturday, March 20. The Scouts picked up more than 30 garbage bags of trash along Route 616. Webelos of Den 4 participating were Bruce Frye, Wayne Fisher and Mike Fisher; Cub Scouts in Den 1 were Randy Hitt, Nicholas Bischoff, Kirk Smithgall, Bart Secrist and Harvey Hitt. Gene Fisher, Scout leader was in charge of the clean up. Stuart Hitt also helped.□
DEPUTY GRADUATES
Martin Orfila of Washington, a deputy with the Rappahannock Sheriff’s Department, has completed basic school at the Central Shenandoah Criminal Justice Training School at Weyers Cave. This course is for full-time law enforcement officers in Virginia. Orfila’s graduation on February 27 was attended by Sheriff W.A. Buntin and Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Scroggins, Jr.
