Wool payment
Wool and lamb producers are reminded to keep all wool and unshorn lamb sales tickets in order to file for payment under the Wool Incentive Payment Program.
These sales tickets must show: Name and address of the buyer; name and address of the seller; date of the sale; and the signature of the buyer or person acting on his behalf. Wool sales tickets must show the pounds of wool sold, and at the time the application is filed the producer must report the number of sheep sheared and the month the sheep were sheared.
The unshorn lamb sales ticket must show the liveweight of the lambs sold and a statement from the buyer that the lambs were unshorn at the time they were sold.
Area producers are encouraged to stop by the ASCS office and file an application for incentive payments as soon as all wool and lamb sales for the year are completed. □
