at $7.15-1/2 to $7.18; Ohio Valley points gained 39 cents at $7.03 to $7.11. Bids to producers in Alabama were 56 cents higher at $7.18 to $7.28. Terminal prices at Memphis were$7.27; Norfolk $7.40; and Raleigh and Fayetteville, $7.25 to $7.27. Gulf export prices ranged 43 to 45 cents higher at $7.18 to $7.25.
CATTLE—Feeder cattle prices continue downward. Receipts at selected markets in the Southeast the week ending July 9 were near 28,000 , last week 30,200, one year ago 44,000. As compared with the previous week, feeder classes were steady to $1 lower. Exceptions were Florida and South Carolina where Florida posted steers and heifers $1 to $2 lower, steer calves $2 to $5 lower and heifer calves $1 to $3 lower. South Carolina rebounded from sharp declines the previous week and was steady to $2 higher.
